then it was spring


It started off like this one Sunday afternoon.


Then this happened.

And today the tete-a -tete were taken to the plot so they can come up again next year.

Not quite sure how it happened so quickly though I could hazard a guess or two.

Mine were set aside to dry out and be replanted next year ... I love the way that means we carry one spring into the next.

Mine aren't quite there yet Colleen. The date my first daffodil blooms is one I make note of every year :)

Clever little things, those Spring bulbs. Even I remembered to plant some in the garden pots and they're about to flower (well, some of them. The others look to be just leaves). The indoor tete a tete we had were kindly planted by Lidl.
