day 24: all we like sheep

With apologies to Handel for the missing comma, here are two wise old girls at Mudchute today, one slightly disapproving, one with a smile. They remind me of the two sisters in Cranford, watchful, waiting for news. Maybe they know something we don't.

So here we are again for another year. Thanks for coming along on the journey around East London and beyond, and leaving all your lovely comments.  Peace, joy and good wishes to you all.

Hallelujah and amen to that.

Ha - I love this with a missing comma. Great picture - I find sheep very hard to photograph. Thank you for the lovely Advent journey. May your Christmas be peaceful and your New Year full of joy.

They're rather spendidly correct and refined , aren't they .Small , non-showy hats and some gloves would complete the look .
I hope you're having a cosy Christmas and that the new year arrives with much cheer .

I love your sheep! They look very wise. There is a field of sheep near us in East Lothian. I can hear them at night when all else is silent, just the occasional bleat! Do come and visit me at therunningwave if you would like to. Happy New Year.
